I am sick of people who think thay shuldnt have to work for a good contract! Some time you got to go without no pay and sacrifice to stand up to corprate greed!
Well damn my union stewart told me lies then. She said I would be reimbursed for any pay I was out if I walked. I would have walked anyway but I dont appreciate being lied to.
The Union did, another mini STRIKE, and still no contract, let's wait until there are not enough service tickets to call another mini STRIKE, the company always wins
And nobody's mind changes because of it.

In the SE we have to walk the picket line for 8 hours a week for 2 weeks with no $ from the strike fund. Then we get the $200.00 per week starting the 3rd week of the strike. You really have to have money saved to get through a long strike. BTW it's Union Steward, not Stuart.

Lol : “When do I get paid- I have a family to feed”. You DO know, I assume, that when you strike you are not working? The point of holding out is to force the company to give up better benefits, etc. - But that is at your own risk. Any stipend from the union isn’t supposed to replace your salary. In any case, I agree with protesting about the overseas outsourcing- it is unacceptable when we have a pro-US President.
You have to be part of the picketing schedule in order to collect. Your union Stuart will let you know how many hours you must commit before getting paid
