I agree with @1fct, its the divide and conquer mentality with no representation for the reps while making less for more work, this will cause more of a morale problem at the locations, the plan is that many reps will leave or get pip Ed out with the tougher numbers to achieve with less payout. Then they can hire new people at a lower pay and benefit scale. All this with VZW telling you it s the best compensation plan ever devised with the unknowing rank and file telling you how " great it is".

I am in the SEM advance I saw a print out of the new commission yesterday. I do not remember all of the details, but it is happening.

I don't know were all these rumors come from regarding commission. There was a video attached to a future compansation email, All I saw was a guy sitting in a San Francisco Bay backdrop explaining about how 4 regions were tested in different commission plans for 6 monthsand more information will be rolled out within 30 days. and they will be having employees explain the benefits of the plan they picked. Again, Verizon moves so slow, so the many months of people on this site saying commission is going away and reps will get more upfront money is pure fiction and would be an invitation for the Union to get more members , now with a commission based culture the reps are competing with one another and have no concern on what others do at their location.

They're ridiculous spending is sending this company down fast. 4 billion for Yahoo. 4 billion for all. 4 billion for telematics and we can't even sell a hum not to mention how much they spent on "go90" that no one ever heard of

Used to be an awesome job. Now I'll be surprised if there are corporate stores in a year

Care is dumber then a box of f---in rocks. When the bogo was going on... they told customers to add a line and they would switch the dpp to the existing number and cancel the new line. Talk about false churn. They are a bunch of morons. They have no idea how retail stores operate. They’ll say anything to get a customer off the phone.

Preach to customer service choir. I call us the "clean up crew." Meanwhile, I'm getting chastised for issuing too many credits that I have to issue because a store rep straight lied to a customer's face. It makes me dislike both the sales rep and the customer who doesn't have the testicular fortitude to go back to that rep and tell them what's what.

This company is going downhill fast. I have been there 5 yrs. Started out as an incredible job. I understood when they got rid of the RSS and inventory people to cut costs and didn’t mind doing more work myself because I was making great money. Now I am consistently struggling just to make quota.

With these new changes (that we all know are coming) it is only a matter of time till we are making what they make at gamestop. We already dress like we do. Stupid heart T-shirt’s.

@DMR well said. Unfortunately, the reps that have no integrity will still find a way to cheat the system. Just make sure when false churn is committed to put it in the notes and eventually it will catch up to the reps commiting false churn.

Do you work in the mines of Nicaragua? Get out of here with that Union b.s. Only pansies have greasy guidos fight for their salaries and threaten to walk out if they don't get what they want. Boo hoo.

Hopefully the changes will stop you retail rep from committing false churn that customer service has to clean up and give unnecessary credits while you steal more commission than you should have gotten.

Pathetic. I hope they hurry up with store closings - SOMETHING! Because it’s not worth it. Driving in to an empty lot each day (NO CUSTOMERS/NO SALES) & Management who act like they are blind to the fact that this is happening.

$15 a phone. WTF? Smh

Take this junk to the wireless site. Commissions are for teenagers selling Cutco knives. Adults work for bargained-for Union wages.

Our solutions manager showed us the training on it, even though he wasn't supposed to. It is completely indecipherable.

So much for that much vaunted "higher hourly rate" that was promised in that VZWeb video a few months back!

As someone who is in a trial. It s---s. You’re working harder to make the same or less. I’m pretty sure this will get rolled out because it makes Verizon more money and we still try to get a commission check. We’ll keep pounding stuff to try and get a 1.0 that becomes the new windfall.
