Be ready! Retail will have its turn!

So- June 15th? Is this a sure bet? The real deal? Or has something already changed? Amplify was trending to hire 1500 Retail ASMs by EOY 2 weeks ago- now vanished into thin air....Was it just more smoke and mirrors? They are now trending to hire 1300 Store Managers? That’s a lot of POP UPS in 6 months.
Thing is T doesn’t know from one day to the next what they are doing, when they are going to do it, or why they even need to do it. SAD 😞
You get a layoff, you get a layoff everyone gets a layoff!!!!
TP&E is Technology Planning & Engineering
TFS is currently restructuring to the IEFS model of 20 techs per manager. This will result in manager layoffs.
We have all be put in live load. No BPC or cable work. The company is determining exactly how much work is customer driven. The load at this time does not support the number of techs on my crew
This will result in tech layoffs.
Too many techs. Not enough work.
Same issues in IEFS.
TP&E??? What does this stand for
TP&E layoffs are underway again. A mere three months removed from the last layoff.
“I know for a fact there have been thousands of layoffs since Q3 2017. Very few have seen an email regarding a single one, unless you are a Director or above. Just because one chooses to avoid the obvious, doesn't mean you should not prepare yourself for what Randy and the C-suite have been telegraphing for years. There is one thing they HAVE to do. They have to appease the shareholders and the board with promises of an "improved" cost structure.”
Agreed well kind of....Directors don’t know much just rumours. They will probably be impacted by the next big cut as well(my guess is next year).
But for now retail is safe and the restructuring will be more of position and responsible changes.

Isn’t that what this site is? Rumors? If it requires documented for sure cross-referenced things we will never post anything here until after you see it in company email!

Fake news
None of that back office asm stuff is true!!!!
Well this sounds resonable & complete-plus would explain all the nervous whispers behind closed doors, abrupt region meeting concelations, abrupt leadership visit cancellations. Constant texting between managers- yes on the floor. Totally distracted managers- yes on the floor.
Change is way overdue. It is time. Thank you to the genius who finally figured it out.
Bring it! Looking forward to it! Fun Days Ahead!
Don’t expect retail layoffs but retail will look different. There are actually long term plans now to expand the number of stores thanks to FirstNet but some changes are needed to make this possible.
Phase 1:
SSRs will be offered guranteed RSC positions and invited to apply for Back Office ASM role (or other management level positions like ASM or ISC). Applicants must not be on any active attendance, job performance, or COBC discipline.
Back Office ASMs will be floating ASMs primarily handling back office duties across ARSM areas and paid off area sales. Most areas will have 1 to 2 max. Unlike regular ASMs - Back Office ASMs will be discouraged from any direct coaching of reps to allow them time to perform back office duties but may be used to fill in as needed in front of house duties (welcome center, floor general, etc)
Target implementation date is 9/1.
Phase 2
Floating RSMs handling 1 large store and 1 smaller store and ASM staff will also float between both locations as well. This will happen as smaller rural stores are opened where possible and distance permits.
Troll lol
Actually, please explain retail's layoffs.
Please explain? Layoffs.
Please explain.
Do you think TFS will cut Techs ?
It’s about damn time for retail
Not just retail!!
TFS as well.
