To the idiot that said this site is for old men that vent, I laugh at that child. I'm certainly not old however I was laid off by Verizon after they acquired XO. Verizon is a sh--ty behemoth that is only focused on the bottom line. They hire people from India who will work for 50% less than a fair salary for the position. And they hire "new blood" like you and sell you on all their "benefits" and why Verizon is a wonderful company to work for. In the meantime they spend millions of dollars to secure naming rights on sports stadiums and the C level executives are some of the highest paid in corporate America. I can’t wait for every single store to close! Buying online is much better....you get what you want without a used car salesman (who still lives in mommies basement) trying to sell you crap that you don’t want or need.
Don’t mind any of these nonsense posts, it’s just a way for old men to stress when they get hemroids and their union steward don’t come through to grieve their extra bathroom breaks.

Move on before you invest to much time invested. The store thing is a dead end. Do you really want to be s---ering people out of money the rest of your life hoping and praying you will remain worthy to continue to do so quarter after quarter? The job is not for the skilled, just the soulless. Leave while you still have one, of course assuming you do.
If you dont have any ethics or morals you will be fine.

i’ve been with the company a few years and thru a few rounds of layoffs. don’t take this site to heart. my managers and my dm have always been there for me. it’s a great job and we make a good amount of money. people just want something for nothing and the stupidest/worst voices rise to the top on a page like this
