Commision Restructure

Our region just received word of commision restructure. This change will take effect July 1st. Training has been sent out with information regarding change (VZ105676: The New Compensation). From the literature, we will be going from targets to a per device payout. Payout is as follows (keep in mind this is not sales dollars, its actual $):

Jetpacks/Tabs: $8 per every device sold.

Connected Devices : $10-$15

Hums: $15

Renewals: $15*

Gross Adds $15*

Accesories $0

Renewals and Gross Adds have a kicker

You can double payout if you have a perfect sale.

A premium tier will be paid at $30 per UP/ GA if sold with TMP and a $90 accesory bundle( has to be both, can not be one or the other).

Sounds promising right????? WRONG!

this change means less MONEY

While the training paints an amazing payout picture this does not apply to everyone. My average commision check is about $3000. Now with the the new structure I would have to sale close to 200 devices to reach that payout. Unless they all magically leave with TMP and a bundle then I would only have to sell 100 devices.

I see where this is going. Incentivice the bottom preformers at the top performers expense. Real nice VZW

All you guys are gonna feel soooooo stupid when you find out the new commission structure. Im sure your GM will let you know after their meeting in a few days. See who is laughing at who.

OP, it's accessories no accesories. How many years have you been selling accessories? You must come across that word constantly. How do you not know it?

OP, you do know that your job is to sell and not “sale”? As in, you would have to sell 200 devices. Sell is a verb. Whereas sale is a noun.

Commission restructure.....lay off wireless employees.....sell phones online. Cha-Ching.

Bwahahaha, that VZLearn code doesn't exist. VZ put this post out there so they can identify who searches for it, and then they know who is trolling the layoff board. Easy as phishing...

So if this new structure is accurate then working in a busier location will make you a ton more money. Right?

I looked up that vz learn code also....it came up “How to slam unsuspecting customers by selling them sh!t that they don’t need”.

What region are you in? This sounds nothing like the trials.

Funny VZW has a “code of conduct” yet its basically a meaningless piece of paper.

Verizon, where trying to sell with integrity and not slamming is looked on with distain and is considered being a “underperformer”.

I looked up that VZLearn code and came up with nothing. What market are you in?

Good to see they’re getting worse since i been gone. Yeah i can see the customers lining up at the doors ready to spend 90 dollars on overpriced accessories and to get TMP which is an absolute waste of money.
