Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

$9,800 per hour - is he worth it?

Based on a 60 hour work week and 4 weeks of vacation, I estimate Randy makes about $9,800 per hour. Does anyone think that's justified?

I think you mean a 60 hour work month.....Randall doesn’t even send his own emails. He’s a chump

I’d be willing to be Randy’s salary any one of us regular employees could do the b---s--- work he does with our eyes closed.

He should be fired for poor performance. Period! CEO pay in this country is out of control. AT&T has busted the power of the union and co-opted them. That is Randy's greatest achievement. He has made the union a paper tiger and rewarded them with perks so that they will not resist. It's really sad. The gains that were made by previous employees have been mostly lost. American workers are getting the shaft because they are settling. Maybe we are too comfortable for now. But soon that is going to change. Corporated greed will eventually lead to a workers uprising.

Randy doesn't care, he's getting paid to fire you.

There are other CEO's that make a hell of a lot more than Randy. He is just in the middle of the pack for CEO pay for company of this size. Still too damn much. CEO's should be relagated to 50 time average pay of all employees.
