Negative news is usually released to employees late in the day, on a Friday before a three-day weekend. I expect that emails about org changes will be sent out around 5 pm ET on May 25th.
It won't feature happy videos w/ Jeremy or Katie.

OP here, to clarify... this is not when the RIFs occur, but when they would make any "organization announcements" or other negative employee communications to the broader employee audience.
The RIFs will occur on any given Thursday, but the only people who know about those are the individuals directly impacted. Verizon has perfected the art of the 'silent, but deadly', employee reduction process.
