Any word on SMB Specialist being cut? The majority are not hitting quota under the new commission structure. From what I've heard the new cuts are coming without warning meaning they are not telling the RBSM,GM anyone that could leak information.

I had a coworker apply for a supervisor position at a call center, was called and said he had the job, 3 days later they told him position was in hold, week later the call center closed. Verizon is business as usual, until they have to let the cat out of the bag.
I wouldn’t take job postings as evidence their not cutting people. Sometimes one hand doesn’t know what the other is doing. For example, 2-3 yrs ago in my dept they posted several openings for my team but then ended up calling an emergency meeting and laying people off.... some sups had to actually cancel interviews they were conducting to attend the layoff meetings.

As of this morning there are about 17 job openings for SMB retail specialist company wide with a lot of them opening within the last 2 days. SMB cuts sound like BS
One of my solutions managers applied for an smb specialist position weeks ago. He was pretty much told he had the job, but had to wait for background to come back to make it official. He hasn’t heard anything since. If something is gong to happen tomorrow with smb, it would explain the hold up.
