Anybody else here thinks that this whole May 17 thing has been blown way out of proportion?
If there was to be something as huge as some are indicating here shouldn't we have heard something by now through official channels?
I'm not disputing something will happen, I just doubt it will be nearly as huge as many are fearing right now.
Most of the posting here is relatively accurate . An SM from the west area who was laid off this week has had conversations with her former GM and yes, there is a strategic plan in place to dismantle the entire retail sector (as we know it) at Verizon. The company wants out of retail.
The "official" word can't be given until notifications actually start happening. Just don't be caught with your guard down. Prepare for the worst and hope for the best.
Well, wait and see what happens. The purpose of this board is to post rumors that you may have heard,etc. so there will always be some that turn out to be true, some not. Post any rumors that you hear, people can evaluate what they think of them and see what happens in the end.
Wake Up ma'am. Or sir. This is America... This Verizon something WILL happen. Just know that.
