Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Head count

Any other stores besides mine in southeast Understaffed and they still want to lower head count seems like the powers at be are up to something if you have any real info or your store is short handed and they are not hiring anymore please comment

They are letting the numbers go down so they don’t have to announce a retail layoff which would look terrible because it’s an extremely large number of people all over the country.

Retail stores are like revolving doors..I’d imagine the average is less then 3 years for a rep. SSR however is probably much higher and 10+ year average.

We had 7 people leave in a 2 month period and no one is going to be replaced. They all but 1 of them left to IHX.

Mobility side of the house all managers work from home and have low tech counts sad to see other groups are understaffed.

I am in the southeast also. Head count is at the lowest I've ever seen. Our SSR left and there are no plans to backfill the position. As RSCs leave there are no replacements either. I've been wondering the same thing. What is going on?
