Are there any other discussion groups or s-ites out there?

There is no better site for information as well as misinformation.
How about finding a new job, that way you will not need to rely on this site?
With over 1,000 companies there are over 50,000 posts a day. The automatic checks cannot find unrelated posts, only inappropriate posts. As a free site, there is not labor available to read each post. Users are expected to report off-topic posts. I agree there are many off topic posts. I ignore occasional venting comments and blaming Randall for all our issues. A single complaint will not remove a post unless the comment is severe. I do not know how many complaints are needed to remove off-topic posts. Join me in reporting off-topic posts. Send the link, a copy of the post . If OP (original post) is OK, report the comment post with the comment, link AND post ID to:
contact@thelayoff.com
I have checked this site off and on for 5 years. I believe they need to edit the posts more often. The name is The Layoff, yet there are many posts about non-layoff topics. Usually political rants that should be posted elsewhere. Overall, the best site for layoff discussions.
And with lazy millennial trolling...bs
