ATT layoff July 19th

Just for a call stating conference call for up coming changes. I am pretty sure it is a layoff which i will be part off.

What is so sad is our current FCC will allow att to continue stealing from customers since there is no internal effort to try and correct. Customers must fight with third world customer support who will only make them more angry and give up trying to correct over billing. I hope att is fined billions as Wells Fargo was today for the same type of theft

Sorry to hear that. I had a Connecticut peer surplused before me. I left 12/2016 but luckily was retirement eligible. Good luck and God bless. There is life afterwards.

Connecticut just re did one of its offices so I doubt that it will be closing any time soon.

ATT is closing all it's Connecticut offices and moving any remaining work to other states.

People are not happy. No information and no word on transfer ability.

My manager said they are offering zero information on jobs except to say information will be coming.

He is sure he will be gone also.

I had the same message left on my answering machine for a conference a call Tuesday? No idea what that is about. Figured it's a wealth management outfit wanting to bug us for retirement management. Doubt it is anything related to surplus coming up.
