I got an offer, but it starts on Monday.
What's the worst thing that can happen if I don't give the full two weeks notice?

If u really got the new job, why do you give a rip Troll
VZ ever give anyone two weeks notice? LOL Do what you have to do man...
In states where it is not protected some companies withhold payout for vacation and sick time unused if you don't give a min of 2 weeks notices. Other than that what can they do.... to require you to work for them is considered slavery though if you signed a do not compete they can make your life miserable for a while.
Absolutely nothing!!! Enjoy and Congrats
The worst thing that could happen, is that VZ will never bring you back.
I have done this more then once, and nothing bad happened.
Congratulations! Forget 2 week notice, Verizon is big enough company to handle it.
Since when is VZ professional? Give me a break!
Two weeks notice is a professional courtesy, however if you are in retail then it may be a little more acceptable to give less. Something to keep in mind for your next job change is to negotiate a start date that will allow for at least a two week notice in your current job, if not longer. Give your notice, take an extra week or two, then start the new job. Always nice to have some time between switching jobs to decompress if you can afford it. Good luck.
2 minutes notice is plenty of time. VZ will not give you a recommendation anyway so good luck with your new job and congratulations!
Tell them you got a new at AT&T and you are giving them a two week notice. They will let you go immediately after you tell them.
Good job getting out of this pit of hell. Two weeks notice? I would give them two middle fingers notice.
You probably wouldnt be able to use them as a reference. So if your new job doesnt work out an you need Verizon as a reference in the future
If you have a new job, don’t worry about it. Congratulations!
Then if you wanted to come back to Verizon, they most likely wouldn’t hire you back. If it’s for another carrier sometimes they let you go with pay. By if you don’t plan on coming back, don’t stress about it.
