At on every time Bellsouth had free coffe in break rooms, as soon as the T merger it was gone along with other cost cutting.
TW will learn the ways of the layoff, the feeling of the axe of the layoff around the corner every quarter, cut as much as needed to make upper mgmgmnt bonus. Your job or future implications are not a concern. Short term gain is the vision.
If your wondering about overlap, you need to learn about reorg and surplus. Offshoring, Turner will be outsourced to Bollywood ASAP. The dismantling of your organization begins in about 3 months.

How is there duplication with techs? You realize time Warner is not time Warner cable - one is a cable company and the other( which T bought) is a media company.
There are layoffs happening but that would have happened regardless of the merger. T wants a more lean work force to improve magins. Nothing to do with the merger.
Installers, entertainment sales, middle management, stores
Name a few positions or organizations. We are in totally different businesses. I don’t see a lot of duplication in this merger.
With all the duplication with techs, sales, and management it is going to be a bloodbath!
