What has everyone heard? I work in E Phx retail, rumor is closures coming q3. Any facts ?

Stores will close. Districts realigned, and GMs overseeing two stores. Plans are in the works. Best bet is to see when your lease for your store is up. If it’s this year, prepare to be shut down.
The next gen stores are safe, they cost less to operate and will become th flagship store in any given area over time.
Ask your GM when the lease in your building is up, not all of them are so comfortable answering.
The store at BTC is up in October, Tuscon Broadway uo this year as well. If you work in a store and your lease is up this year ride it out and take the severance.
I am a SM in Phx I forsee indirect takeovers in the coming months. I am ready to jump off the jumping sh-- onto better things.
Since you work there, tell us how is the foot traffic in there? If low then yeah it will close.
Non corporate Verizon stores are popping up EVERYWHERE in Phoenix metro. Prepare for the worst IMHO...good luck!
