Now that we merged are the TWC techs going to be unionized and if so with layoffs will they go or will it be based off seniority?

How can it be the law to make them join a union. In some non right to work states union contracts can unfairly require all employees to join the union, but a union company buying a non union or company whose employees are already represented by another union doesn’t mean that those emplees have to be moved to the purchasing company’s union without some sort of vote.

As stated this is for Time Warner media not Time Warner Cable. They don’t have techs. There are unions involved though as this is a media company with teamsters, cwa, actors guide etc. T just bought itself a big ol bag on unionized work force.
this has to be a troll
This deal was for all of time warner not just turner!!!
I hope you understand that Time warner and Time Warner Cable are two different entities. Time Warner and Time Warner Cable, split in two in 2008. The Merger deal is for the content of Time Warner not the cable portion. Therefore I do not believe that technicians are relevant in this conversation.
I guess that Cowan bribe really payed off!!!!
Idk if thay are union now but will be once thay join us it is the law
