What state is this started in? People get out while you can before you are smacked in the face. They do not care about us it's been proven over and over. Our club has been a joke for a couple of years now and only getting worse. Less people but made to stay over to only cut hours during lunch or come in late.... not right , is this even legal? I have been looking for another job before I am told I no longer have a job. Good luck to all of us.
Yep, pretty much the same in my club. I don't even recognize our club anymore. Just when you think they couldn't care less, someone says or does something to prove me wrong. Who needs competition, Sam's is killing itself from within.

So they really think 4 people can cover all 7 days and nights. Only possible if none of them schedule a day off or call out sick.

and local management does not believe us receiving folks about how bad all this is going to be.............if I did not know better I would think that it was all a scheme to destroy Sam's....
DC s have been auto receiving for the past couple of months.. Three trailers were still loaded , but product on those trailers were dumped into our inventory. Funny thing is floor people looking for product that isn't in the club , but is on hand ..Home office really thought this one out what if there's a staffing issue on overnight receiving and trailers go unloaded for days . High volume clubs sometimes have trailers piggybacked and drivers won't move them around cause of insurance issues.. Guess what inventory is gonna be interesting ... but what do we know ....lol
This has happened twice at my club. Once it was unloaded by another club!!! It was reloaded and brought to us missing several pallets. And we are told not to use the manifest just unload the freight. Yeah Right! The other time it all had to be MTRd to the other club. Let them figure this out after we get the boot!
My club just replaced a clerk that left.
Our clerk just told me two Wal-Mart trucks have been auto-received with over $160,000 worth of our merchandise. Guess What? Neither has shown up yet and this stuff is in our On hands now. Found this out after searching for item. Where is the accountability? Couldn't these trucks unload items somewhere and we have no proof they were never here...what is corporate thinking?
