If the Justice Department succeeds in blocking AT&T’s acquisition of Time Warner on Tuesday, the president could send the cable-TV industry into a tailspin.

The president doesn’t decide the outcome of the case the judge does. And this merger wouldn’t save traditional cable if anything it would accelerate T’s shift to an OTT provider.
Only reason Att wants Warner is for their content and to charge everyone else boatloads of money to use it.

Cable TV didn't need a push to go over the edge, people are fed up with getting ripped off
