SIPP is not a MOBILITY thing. Yes they will ask for volunteers to get head count, a yes they will have to offer you a position, probably as a part-time RSC, which you are until no obligation to accept. You can continue to pursue other positions with-in the company (best of luck) or take full severance.
Read all 4 contracts- Orange, Purple, Black & Green- SIPP is not a Mobility Union Thing. AT&T is made up of dozens of different unions with all kinds of different stipulations in each business unit.
I was told for every HR hiring person, there is a equivalent of a HR firing person. This is a big business group.
good chunk of what ??? .. you maybe get a SIPP ... severance is only if they offer you no other job anywhere in the company
I hope this is true, because everyone is messing with my hopes and dreams. I'll gladly take the surplus and leave this place. I was in the middle of a job search and applying other places when I heard the rumors about my position as an SSR being surpluses. So now I'm waiting to see if it's true. I've been with company for 12 years so I should have a good chunk coming my way.

Glad I got out of this place at the beginning of the month. This company is not what it use to be.
