Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

We are the swamp! by the products we buy

Obviously, if one is in the buggy whip business as the age of the telecommunication dawned, "sticking to your knitting" is ill-starred advice. Leaping into another unrelated and complex business field without experience is usually equally disastrous. AT&T proved the truths in these maxims in surprisingly short-order, as the Cohens saga continues while AT&T CEO Randall Stephenson tries unsuccessfully to detached from this swampy fiasco, This fraud and "key findings … blatantly ignored and dismissed in less than one day by all AT&T executives, some operating as "lone rangers," closed deals at enormous premiums n the billions of dollars range in cable T.V. properties and assorted other elements. These deals, often concluded without proper due diligence or even solid financial review and without protection for downside risks from commitments of huge cash payments, can take down this company to illegal payments that have come to light in recent days, welcome to the AT&T swamp
