I have a $60,000 pickup and my house is paid off...I’ll be retired by age 55 also! Worked my entire life to retire early.....paper route as a kid, dishwasher in high school, 3 years in the military, one year in a factory and over 30 years here. Paid extra on my mortgage every month to pay off a 30 year loan in just 13 years. If you want to retire while you’re still young enough to enjoy your retirement, you have to work hard and be smart with your money. No ones going to give you anything, you have to earn it. Work all of the overtime that you can and pay your bills. It’s that simple.
I'll be retired by 55. If Americans were not so stupid with money and focused on materialism, most would be able to retire in their 50's. But enjoy that $60,000 pickup truck and keep being miserable morons.
