Verizon Forcing Out Union Employees?

Is the union protecting any of the workers? I know in NJ it's not. Also, I've heard that Verizon corporate is getting management to "manage out" or try to push out tenured union employees so they can be replaced with newer, cheaper, labor.

Verizon cut the FTO group because they were trying to unionize and a day before it was final they were all gone

If you’re a post-2003 hire, make sure everything is on record and force your local to have your back. The Locals should be keeping a very close eye on Management when it comes to those lesser-protected associates.
