I was affected by the rif in February and I found another work at home job as well making more money. I’m a Licensed Social Worker.

I too was part of the layoffs that was let go in February and help there till March I am on severance so not hurting but found a job making more money better benefits better bosses and all-around better everywhere there is life after HUMANA get out while you can do not wait for severance because I do not think they will be as generous

Humana is definitely restructuring and I believe attempting to save money. I was part of the layoff in February. I still do not have a job yet, neither do several of my very high qualified coworkers. I thought Humana was a great company to work for and they attempted to provide plenty of resources. I have used them all but they have not helped in anyway.
It truly upsets me that so many great associates have lost their jobs. It upsets me more that the CEO is documented as making $20 million last year. That truly is an out rage. I would have taken college courses if I would have known that I would be struggling so much to get a job at this point. I have never had trouble obtaining a job in the past.

Have you seen who my new director is? Take note of that and tell me they are looking for improved engagement. It's a travesty. Of all the nasty people they make that one a director. I got another job and not a minute too soon.
I cant for the life of me understand why they would just plow through healthcare providers en masse-phcs, nurses, social workers- by laying off and firing and not even think about retraining or moving them into other areas. Just an endless commodity to be discarded. Other companies are paying for housing, education, and retention . Not humana.... just Bye Felicia. We will not pick you until you leave or lay you off. Do the bean counters not look at the cost of orienting/on boarding healthcare providers?
Working at home is the only reason I stay. I do enjoy the members. I work for them .
