I also do nothing from Day 4 to Day 31. Except in February, oh it's a good ol short month to look busy for less days.

Finance went through a lot of RIFs over the last couple of years. I'm surprised by this comment. I will say that Finance doesn't often get listened to (and I'm on the product side). So they just go with the flow when it comes to stupid ideas. Go90? NFL Deal?
When concerns were raised, they were told to shut up because Lowell or Marni was pushing for it.
So what happens is insiders lobby based on hopes and false promises, and then finance rubber stamps it because they're told to. Now Finance is all about tracking rather than calling out the issues even when they know they are there.

Wireless Finance in BR HQ is over staffed and duplicating a lot of nonsense work. I will take a payout anytime. Write me a check and drop it off at A.B.'s office.
I’m in wireless mktg and I have not done anything in 5 years. I get paid a lot of money to do nothing. They all know and they don’t care. My hand is raised, I’ll take a severance package but no one is seen no my hand up.
