Thread regarding Humana Inc. layoffs

Equipment Returned

When leaving Humana do they send a prepaid shipping labels or do we have to pay for it all to be returned?

I haven't got boxes or labels. Hope they don't hold severance because they haven't got the equipment. Get off your high n mighty horses and take care of business

I retired in 9/17. I IM’d the IT person who was to send me labels. I had my computer and work items for 7 yrs so needless to say, I didn’t have the boxes they came in after that time period. The IT person IM’d me to take my equipment and labels to my local UPS store and Humana would pay for boxes/packing items. (There was written verification of these instructions in my IM chat history). Well.......like so many lies Humana has given us, they DID NOT reimburse me for the packing charges I had to pay up front. This was almost $60. At first my coach told me she would resolve the matter and even if IT refused to reimburse me, she would reimburse me from our teams account. Neither of which happened.

I received boxes with shipping labels without asking for them, but the Humana office is nearby so I just dropped them off one day. You have to turn in your ID badge/key card, too, and the guy who loaded my stuff out of the car asked for my user login.

They sent me three boxes just appeared on my front porch one morning in one box was to put only the computer. I also sent back the copier I didn’t want it. The third box I had nothing to go into it but I sent it back empty anyway as the labels on the boxes said one of three two of three etc

I quit in january. They sent me 4 labels that were addressed to send the equipment back to me. Finally about 3 weeks later after contacting a covering coach (my coach was laid off too) I got 3 new labels. Doesn’t seem like they are that worried about the equipment.

Yes, below poster, I had also assumed there would be some sort of communication about next steps before access was denied. I submitted all my time sheets and signed written agreements for did everything that was communicated but was expecting another communication related to equipment return. I feel like I’m going to miss something.

They turned off access today without giving us any communication from DSI. My coach through HR could not give us a definite answer as to when or how we would be contacted. The SOB's better send me labels, I was given my laptop in Florida and everything else was shipped to my home, I wasn't a contractor so i shouldn't be responsible for getting the equipment back no matter how close I live to an office. #getyourshittogetherHumana.

I'm sick of their crap taking up space in my home. They need to send some labels now. I'm tempted to bill them for storage fees at this point.

I had to supply my own boxes. I got labels only. Life will be much better after sending crap in! From minute one. :)
