I was laid off on last round and have been avoiding any talks regarding Humana because I am still a lil upset at how things were handled. That is beside the point. All I'm seeing now is stuff about Walmart. Can someone please explain what the heck happened to the deal with Kindred? Two years and have heard there different names for an acquisition. Get a clue those that are still there
Ask during the skip meeting if they see in the layoffs coming .
We have a skip meeting, no coach/manager, with our bosses boss soon.. I’d like to say quit micromanaging and why don’t u just say it! I think we all are of enough intelligence to see the writing on the wall... it’s coming. Question is when? If everyone moves to monitored quite obviously they don’t need all of us HCMs.
Yes people do know things and we have known when layoffs are coming because of this site.
Stop coming on here calling people naive. You know nothing, no one does. If it happens, so be it. If not, those of us who want to will continue on with our work.
Probably the layoffs that we know are coming at some point. People please don’t be naive and think they are done cause they aren’t.

Previous message should have been Walmart is buying Humana to make money and talks with Walmart probably started last year after the failed merger with Aetna Walmart I’m sure suggested that Hccp was unnecessary fluff hence RIF

HCMSSs have a 2.0 update meeting on Monday, 9th. Hoping its positive.
CHEs received a meeting invite for Monday as well.
HCM RN for HCCP our coach has a meeting Monday with coaches and COM. Lasts about an hour and half. Who knows what is happening.
What role were coaches in mtg and hinting at PIT assessments? HCMSS coaches always have coach mtg on Mondays.
How does a coach hint heavily? 😱
My coach was hinting VERY heavily today that she is doing point in time assessments again. I don't know if she really is or if she was just saying that as a scare tactic.
I noticed all the coaches were in a long meeting today. So I am guessing that, yes, more layoffs are coming
Agree, pharmacy angle seems to be what is under scrutiny with potential competition from Amazon. Certainly changes are coming for health care, maybe walmart will save day to day operations.

I don't think anyone knows what it would look like, its unprecedented. The plan is to stay competitive, I am not sure the details are in place. It would be a waiting game.
So if we get bought out by Walmart, will we get to work full time? Will we take cuts in pay? Will we have our benefits cut? If its run like the stores, it makes me very worried.
HCMSS here. Lots of changes but I havent heard anything yet.
