I’m over 50, was gaslighted and then laid off by this company a year ago. I got the last laugh: I landed a job at Amazon with a 50% pay increase, stock options and a huge cash bonus. The lesson for VZ: great companies aren’t that way because they have a racially diverse bunch of twenty somethings sitting at tables like kindergartners. Companies are great because they have good leadership with great foresight and hire the best people they can find.

Same here, our Dm has been overheard several times saying we need to get new blood and get rid of the "older" employees. One of our reps has been documenting what's going down, he's suddenly been written up. Go figure.

Happening at my store right now. 4 older people were written up for " numbers" , yet the young punks with similar numbers are not getting written up. The older employees are being " coached" several times a day, the young peeps, not so much. It seems we are being " coached" out. I can say the older reps are looking into union representation. Seems the only thing left as the company continues to screw over it's employees.
