Joke all you want but the lack of work is not going to stop. the company moved very slowly the E911 work in Connecticut to another state. We were told the work being slow was just a sign the systems were all working good. We found out later the movement was to Chicago and once the towns were mostly moved they closed the office last year. People were in shock and asked why we were told the work was still here. Management finally said the exec in Texas told them if the changes were discussed they would be the first to go. Surprise they were also laid off and did not see it coming.

No offers to move or other jobs.

Bonded pair installs now fall on ST’s not Wire Techs. Yes, right after laying off / bumping so many ST positions over the past few years. With there being one speed plan now in my area (SE), 50 Mbps, you can bet just about each install over 1500 foot copper loop will be a bonded pair.

I’m glad to see more work going to the $37/hr employees with a pension and not $24/hr positions designed to replace them!

@SoHHXTN you will get all the sanity you need once headcount is reduced as a result of proving to the company by taking E-time that the job can be done with fewer workers at your location. Why keep an office open if that office consistently takes E-time and a great percentage? Why not close the office and let the workload fall on other offices who do not take as much E-time. Remember it's easy to just reroute calls from one call center to another. When dealing with call a center it would be my guess that one way headcount is determined is through calls handled. Therefore, if an employee takes E-time the lack of calls that center location loses by not being received (however few the calls may be) will severely and negatively impact the efficiency and productive percentage of that particular call center. All that time of not being available to take calls adds up quick especially when you look at the amount of E-time hours a location takes as a whole. Remember those calls are still coming in they are just routed to a office with less hold times and more availability. That's why it's always preached by management to their employees to keep handle times down and be open and available. All call centers in a particular department are pulling calls from the same pool therefore, whether you believe it or not you are competing for the amount of calls or productive work with other call centers in your department. Once the company has data proving that they can close a office and save money through operational cost by just letting another call center handle all the work it's a no-brainer. Of course the managers are trying to deter you from excepting and taking E-time because they understand this concept and their jobs are on the line as a result of office closures through the decisions made by their employees.

We get offered etime but now management says we are not allowed to take it and if we do without talking to a manager 1st that he c will change it to an occurrence, they're basically saying that we have to use all of our vacation time and PTO time first and everybody is a case-by-case basis but they're pretty much denying everybody even though the companies offering it pretty much every day I understand our second levels reasoning of if we're not there it shows that we don't care but we also need sanity we don't have a lot of sanity in the loyalty department

very slow, i’m in acquisition and we sit 5 minutes between calls. E-time is offered like crazy nearly 75% of our office takes it yet majority of the reps arnt passing scorecard so it puts them further in the hole, seems like they are infact trying hard to keep asa down to make things look for for tw deal plus sending a lot of calls to vendors.

In the repair department in the Detroit Michigan area we have plenty of overtime and we are still missing commitments. We can barely keep up with bonded pair installs and they are pushing POTS tickets out a week.

Oh, sending calls elsewhere .... (VENDORS) creating all the time between calls, offering E TIME! Sounds like Randy deceiving the numbers for the Time Warner Deal!
