AOC - Hwy 280 Birmingham AL -sold?

Has the AOC (Alabama Operations Center) on Hwy 280 in Birmingham, AL, been sold? I heard it was, but the deal fell through. Now i'm hearing the sale has been completed. Anybody know what AT&T plans to do with the building?

I heard that the reason that the deal fell through was due to something in the original deed to the property that prohibits a new exit out of the property other than the one already on Hwy-280. I can't verify this.

A friend of mine works in that building, and he said there were surveyors out last week, so it sounds like it may have been sold, or about to be.

The building hasn’t been sold.

I work in that building but haven’t heard anything. I’ll ask around and see if anything is floating around. Not sure if the data center has enough room to move everyone over if not surpluses are likely.
