Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

S.E. Layoff

A couple of months ago during a meeting our manager told us that we in Orrlando credit and collections are the next center to be closed because we are the lowest performing center. I shook it off but now I have noticed that quite a few people have just disappeared. Laid off? Not sure. So last week our calls slowed down and we were given e time. Worried now, I about to celebrated my 10 years there. Has anyone heard if Orlando is closing?

Hi, fellow credit collection rep, I was recently surplus in the Detroit Credit and Collection Center. In truth the company doesn't have need for call center because they pushing the customer volume to self service options. If I was you I would get some type of training in cybersecurity At$t pays good money in that area. If you sit and wait you may have 60-90 days on payroll depending on what contract terms you are under. Best of Luck to you. If you are not evolving to the latest ideas you are dead weight
