Has anyone heard about a surplus of construction here in the Chicago/Illinois area?

Why so many sr sourcing managers. Why would they possibly need that many??
Well what are you hearing? There has to be a massive construction and I&R layoff coming ... what the hell does I&R do all day ... I mean for real??? They are dumping all of the prem techs, so that tells you what outside work there is.
Everyone in TFS I talk to says they have no work to speak of ever and yet they keep sliding on through surplus after surplus for as many bodies as there are. Spliciners and Linemen have some work in different areas but not enough.
