Thread regarding Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) layoffs

Ten for ten

What happens when employees stop caring about their work. If this isn't the best indicator that nobody at HPE gives a damn anymore, I don't know what is. We are ten for ten.

Enjoyed this article. Reading through the points, found that I could identify with many of them. No value-add work from me any more; just the professional minimum. This keeps my hours worked down and prevents me from being stressed and ultimately unwell! Not motivated to do more as I’m confident that redundancy can’t be far away as I get older and move to offshore continues.

Well said. I felt the same way. Sleeping was a real problem for me until I got the WFR'd. I sleep much, much better even though I am without a job. Go figure.

This is my favorite:

  1. Employees resent their leader at first, and they end up being angry with themselves for sticking around in a place where they're treated badly. They don't sleep well. They're grumpy. They feel trapped.

Like a mirror of this board.
