Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

Anybody worried?

Is anybody here worried about the T-Mobile and Sprint deal going through?

Sprint and T-Mobile are officially seeking to merge. If the deal is approved, the resulting company would be the nation’s second-biggest wireless carrier after Verizon, controlling roughly 100 million customers. While the merger could put the companies in a stronger position to take on AT&T and Verizon, it would also eliminate a competitor from the wireless industry.

Time for the government to bust up the three remaining companies, then VZ will get a do-over. Maybe they will get it right the next time around. I doubt it.

The business is just going to get worse. VZ will say they will be unorganized. TMO CEO knows that there will be ramp up time. He will throw some outrageous promo to cause confusion in the market. Time to leave industry. It's been going downhill. If it goes through, it will be an even more unbearable.
