Well, finally has happened. 5 out of 6 of our Corp stores are going to indirect effective June 1. Severance for all, including smb reps. This is in gls09. Good luck to all

That has to be tough.. and I understand you have probably been with the company a long time... what was the average severance they gave?
Honestly, no warning signs from above. It was more of a “feeling” that we tenured employees had. Nothing concrete though.
And for those saying “it’s a blessing” or “please me”, let me say this. You might ‘think’ you feel that way. But when it happens, when your director delivers that news, it s---s. Plain and simple.
5 stores being dropped out of 6 in the district. That 6th store of ours in 2.5 hrs north of us. It’s busier and will be moved into another district.
I’ve said this in multiple threads. My market President is making a planned visit here tomorrow and facilities has made like five trips here in the last week. Are these the signs?

Omg i called one of the stores in that district and confirmed this wow. Verizon does not wanna make the news by closing the stores at one time they just wanna close a few here and a few there.
