Districts will start combining and that will mean less DM’s , less SM’s and less Directors. Since stores are staffed at an average of 7-8 Solutions Specialists it will be easy to transfer the good ones and lay off the bad ones. Most stores are severely down in head count. Not that it’s a bad thing with customer traffic way down. When stores close it will actually help the stores that stay open with more traffic. The last two years Verizon has had the least amount of new hires ever in the history of the company. It’s not simply because traffic is down but more so due to the pending closures.

Hey Lowell here. I have a domino set it my office. Took a year to set it up and that turd Diego Scooter knocked it over. I had to think about that domino effect.
Whoa, we had a facilities crew looking around and taking pictures last week. But it was supposedly to prepare for a big visit from the Northeast President or whatever.
A few other things that are sure fire warning signs that your days are numbered at VZW: If a store manager or SM gets moved from a A size store to a C size store.
Facilities type people come into your store taking pictures of everything for “ inventory purposes”.
The phone inventory depletes rapidly and no new orders come in.
When they close corporate locations most go unnoticed because they imediatly transition them to indirect. Most customers don't even notice this happened.
Exactly! That’s why when solutions specialists quit, they don’t fill the spot. Definitely, layoffs are coming. Bye Bye Retail.
So much talk about closures on here lately. Any timelines? This year?
