Those who are loving their new job, give us a company name so we too can jump the ship if needed. Happy for the ones that have found better jobs , with better pay!!

Yes much greener, I was RIF in feb and I have secured a fabulous job and my boss is forever grateful for me. She lets me do what i have to do to take care of my patients. Autonomy is great i work remotely and make my own schedule. i get 32 hours a week and always home by 3pm and make more than i did at humana. The grass is greener and i am doing great. Dropping off my equipment to ups was a breath of fresh air!!!

Why would we be hiring in enrollment (announced last week) if there will be more RIFs? I think this thread is just guesswork.

Oh lord yes it is greener! Stress, that is not a factor. Treated like adult professional nurses with clinical judgement and respected. Micro managing is seriously frowned on and pay is better. Making5000 more plus bonuses for same job. Quit letting HUMANA which is NoT humane treat you so horribly.

If the pattern follows, the rif would be in june, not may, for 60 day notice to be ending in August, the next quarter

I was rif’d in the last round. My new employer is much more laid back and not uptight. My salary and benefits with my new employer is fair and I get a quarterly bonus. As with any organization we may not like a company process. However I can say this I’m able to breath, work autonomously, and use my expertise as such. Humana was smothering no matter how well you performed with that organization it’s never good enough. I was a Humana robot for 5 years. I’m finally free and I’m thankful.

To answer your question about greener grass I would say yes my new job as case manager is not nearly as stressful

To the people who have left or were effected by rif and have found new jobs; is the grass any greener on the other side?
