Will be announced by the end of this quarter or beginning of next quarter. There may be the usual “effected workgroups” call but from what I’ve heard they already have the names of those who they’ve chosen. I’ve been told the names of the 2 people that have been chosen in my director group and relates to a 5% cut for my title. If you’re a low performer or otherwise not a person of value on you’re bosses team you’re likely to be shown the door. T is beginning to really thin out the ranks.

My org had the calls last Friday. First call was to notify of surplus conditions and those on the call were the impacted group. Second call was to notify those people that surplus was happening but those people were not in the impacted group. Unlike any other surplus scenario I have seen in the past, those actually surplused are notified a couple of weeks later. Not so this time. The person on my team that was surplused was notified immediately after the first call.

EMPLOYMENT IN MOST STATES is “at will,” meaning you can quit or the company can fire you without cause. However, still have to follow federal and state employment laws covering issues such as discrimination, whistleblowing and layoff notices, but in IAT&T's case is different, discrimination and harassment thrives in this environment
@bxz: this particular rumor relates to the dispatch organization but could likely extend to the field organization also.
Stupid auto correct your not you’re. Also I was told second hand these two names if it turns out the be them then we’ll really know how the process works.
