I'm so angry right now I don't know what to do with myself. I was laid off last week less than six months after I was promoted. My manager made such a big deal out of this promotion, just to turn around and stab me in the back only a few months down the line.
How is this okay? Does Verizon really think it can survive while treating its employees so despicably?

I was laid off a year ago this week to make room for a traditionally underrepresented minority we brought over from XO. I made up my mind that I would make it best thing that ever happened to me and it has been. I work for a company that is consistently ranked among the top 5 to work for, I’m doing cutting edge work, have a higher title and make way more money.... and everyone says my replacement s---s and can’t do the job....when she actually manages to show up for work.
Both VZ and I got what we deserve. Shake the dust off your shoes and work to get to a better place. In a year, you’ll be having the last laugh.
Yes they think they can survive. $uckers keep signing up for their service and $uckers keep working for them and drinking the koolaide.

Look at the good part. At least it will look good on the old resume when going for that better job. OoOoOoOo You got this you got lucky you got a head start on everyone else. You can do this and pick your self up and get that better job.
