Thread regarding Humana Inc. layoffs

EAP

Can we use EAP after being impacted? Also, how can I contact them? Thanks in advance.

I'm a former Humana employee who was laid off early in the process and I am now a consultant for an EAP (not the one Humana uses). You can take advantage of the service for counseling even for quite a while after you have been let go from Humana. I often hear from people are are being laid off - it can be a very stressful experience Good luck to everyone who has been impacted! And don't hesitate to use your EAP services for counseling.

Yes it should be in your severance notebook. You are eligible for EAP even after you are separated from Humana.

I'm almost positive you can. If you call HR (888-431-4748) they will be able to tell you for sure and also give you EAP's number.

Please call HR Monday morning. I really do care about you and I know what you're going through is tough. I was impacted several years ago and I can remember having some pretty dark days. It DOES get better, time and someone to talk to does help. Take care of yourself and try to get some rest this weekend. This too shall pass.

I’m not sure, but I’m replying in order to bump this up the “active” posts in the hopes you get an answer. Wishing you the best.
