Has anyone heard any updates regarding the ssr position?

I am a COR RSM. My SSR recently left and the role is not being backfilled.
This is what will continue. But, large stores will hopefully be allowed SSRs.
COR RSM in central and my SSR position was backfilled and I am a level II...
Layoff isn’t happening.
They are not hiring anymore and those that quit will not be refilled unless nessassary.
I believe there is one open spot in the entire country.
The rumor being spread was for contract negotiations to try and scare the union.
Several headcounts for COR retail in FL market have been recalculated. The adjusted headcounts for the level 1 and 2s did not have an SSR position. Level 2 had 2 ASMs, adjusted headcount down to 1.
I heard the same thing and I’m from another region.
Rumor...and I want to make sure this is clear, I heard a rumor from ARSMs, more than one. That there isn’t going to be an SSR surplus, but rather no backfill when one quits or moves into another channel or position. I have nothing to validate this other than, what I was told by two different ARSMs. I am a COR RSM in Central Region.
