Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

Seriously?

It must be a really slow news day if this made the cut. I mean, shocking that you are actually expected to read up on what you are signing and inform yourself about what it really is before you do.

We have customers that walk into a Verizonwireless store buy a tablet from a service provider and come back and will say they were never told about the $10 per month access fee for service everywhere in the country, they only wanted a wifi tablet? Unless, you work in a store you cannot believe this is happening in 2018!

Up to the customer to ask what they’re signing?

No its up to the sales person to explain and fully disclose.

When i sell a product or service i bring out the contract and go over the break down and ask them if they have any questions before they sign.

A sales person that doesn’t disclose is a sales person hiding something.

"It’s up to the consumer to ask what they are signing. They are idiots."

Yeah, that's it. To expect to get what you were lied into thinking you'd get is because, as a customer, you're an "idiot".

(Alternate explanation: Verizon is a lying sleazebag company.)

Why don’t wireless stores actually give a full printed out contract detailing everything for the customer to sign?

You go in as a customer are told all this stuff you’re getting bundled in with a plan and told to accept contract on a little screen that doesn’t show everything. How the hell wireless stores get away with that is beyond me.
