Brickhaus org is having a call tomorrow to be told about a Organization Initiative Discussion.
It is said to discuss 2nd quarter 2018 planning....

there's a more recent post on this. the calls were made on Thursday. I'm one of the unlucky 58. argh!
I think the actual phone calls to employees who have been chosen to be laid off were to begin this week.... anyone heard anything?
they dump more work on you then make you do "contingency planning" training in case the union strikes. then you get to plan your work schedules and project timelines around the foreign holidays. class act at&t is these days.
The volume of work has not changed, more is dumped on the people who remain. Upper management as a group are entirely worthless.
Are none of the big investors paying attention to what is going on, is the short term stock dividend the only thing they care about?
Because Randy and his friends are destroying this company right before our eyes.
Brickhaus said that only 1st and 2nd level managers of the GET organization are on the chopping block and that a total of 58 will be cut. But it is my understanding that there are 800+ ppl in the GET organization... so how many of those are 1st and 2nd level managers?? I'm a 1st level and I'm trying to figure out my odds of getting cut this time around =(
Morning calls are affected groups and an afternoon call is reassurance you are not impacted this time.
they will never figure out that 3rd levels are worthless
It is said, flattening out management. I take that to mean 3rd levels are one of the targets.

If your work group is scheduled for any type of meeting with upper management in the next year, I would be very paranoid. It means they are "streamlining" the process and trying to reorganize in some form or fashion.
