Yes, a rif is absolutely coming soon. Outsourcing to follow. It's going to hit all departments 40-45%. Several teams have been told this by their Managers.

The eisp is like the matrix....no one can tell you about the eisp....it has to be seen to be understood.
Eisp is magical. It’s every dream you’ve ever had. It’s like being with a different woman every night. You can’t handle the eisp.
What is EISP?
No layoffs. I think. I can feel it.
So, everyone chill.
1zfz- I think they will still get the shares. Any involuntary separation or normal retirement means you still get them.
So much for their 50 shares....hahahahahaha!!
I practice agile long time. I swing from tree, eat banana, and write code all day, all night. I very agile!
Is no rif. Is agile practise.
It's not panic - it's just the way things are. I worked for Verizon since it was Cellular One and in the last few years before I was laid off, there was at least 2 layoffs per year. They have to spread them out so it doesn't look so bad.
NRB troll inducing panic (sigh)
If you’re getting rif’d, you are management...therefore you’re not eligible for an eisp! Geez!!
I wouldn't doubt it - I know some folks (in Ohio) who were laid off April 2017. It's a pretty common practice anymore....
We have a two tier contract, so we get no eisp, we get f---ed. Thank you IBEW
Who gets an EISP?
