Honeywell 401 match ripoff, and Spinoff businesses

The 401K match threads seem to be all about pissed off (as they should be) people complaining, and other pissed off people reading the posts and maybe adding their own comments.

Maybe this does some good in the sense that perhaps it is a place to vent. Other than that it has no value. If you are hoping some prospective Honeywell new hires will read this and change their minds about joining Honeywell, IMHO....that won't happen.

If you are thinking Darius will read these posts and change his attitude about screwing his loyal employees, that won't happen either.

If you have a set of breasts or balls big enough to get outside the box, you'd realize the only thing that can make a big difference is unfavorable media attention. As an example just look at the "Me Too" movement.

What about asking some local news outlets to give this some "Air Time"? At the same time get the Homes and Transportation Systems Spinouts some "Air Time".

Or how about a huge billboard with Donald Trump on half it of with his slogan "Make America Great Again" and the other half has Darius with his slogan "We'll Screw You anyway We Can"

Amazing what Honeywell who had the honorable roots of Garrett, has turned into. Working employees to the grave, unpaid furloughs, RIFS, high deductible health insurance, caping vacation, no overtime, overtime screwage during Worked holidays and the list goes on and on. Very sad that Honeywell chose the path of other screw you companies, they did not have to. It’s all about the CEO and board of directors becoming mega mega rich and screwing the working members who have done the work under bad conditions to help the company stay successful. I would not suggest that anyone entertain working at Dishonest and unappreciative Honeywell.

The email everyone received on Monday was intended for managers and supervisors only. It was not supposed to be released to the masses until 1/31/2018.

Refer to the "Talking Points" link in the original email.

This kind of venting beats going Postal, so in that sense HON probably welcomes it.

Based on the FAQ to managers the people going to the Spin would get match if Spin occurs after December 15, 2018

But on earnings call Darius said spin work is going great and if they finish November 30, the spin employees won't get their match!

On second thought it would be worth passing the hat around to put up that billboard on a major thoroughfare people take to the HQ in MP. That said it would only be satisfying to know it would piss off Darius and the other C-suite types since it wouldn't result in any changes.

People need to help themselves. Attempting to create a media backlash against Honeywell? What possibly are the chances you could pull this off as opposed to the massive PR resources of Honeywell in addition to their entrenched Wall St. position? And what do you possibly think Honeywell would do even if you pulled it off? Change their policies? Puhleeeze.

Ain't gonna happen. How about putting all that energy into telling Honeywell to F-Off and finding some other way to pay your bills.
