Intentionally kept in the dark?

At our location, management has shared zero information with hourly employees. We all know something is going on, nobody is blind, but they simply refuse to say anything, even when directly asked. I'm just wondering if our managers are intentionally keeping us in the dark. If they are, I just can't figure out why.

Anybody else in similar situation?

Maybe it has nothing to do with you. And it only affects them. Maybe instead of only worrying about urself and show compassion to managers who are waiting to hear if they have a job. Douche

Here’s what was shared in the email from the Home Office we received yesterday: This week, we’re introducing a new management structure to put more managers in areas of the club that matter most to our members. We also want to have experienced managers in these new positions, so we’re adding minimum and preferred qualifications. While we’ll have the same number of managers in each club, these changes will put the right people, in the right roles, in the right areas of the club.

Some managers will lose their jobs but, no one really knows who until their one on one. Good luck to all if you stay or go!

I’m thinking they’re going to wait until a day or two! Sure they were told to zip it! We lost our GM today! He was the best GM I ever worked for!

It’s bc mgmt is being restructured this week and some are giving walking orders. No words on hourlys and I would bet there isn’t going to be this week. They will focus on the mgmt changes for at least this week and maybe more. I predict hourly info will come down later. You can’t upheave too much at one time or it will all collapse.
