I signed my 2018 expectations today and one of the metrics is quality upgrades, which won’t start until Q2 according to my manager. She had no idea what it means. What we are hearing is that upgrades won’t count toward commission unless you switch them to unlimited, add TMP, sell $100 in ARD or get a pull through item. Verizon is sick of reps clerking out upgrades to hit their multipliers. I know of three or four reps who will quit if this actually goes in effect.

If this is instituted, the reps will find out before they bring out the phone! if the customers don't want accessories or other add ons , and they want a "Naked"phone, they'll go in the back come out and say" We're out of stock" the reseller is over there ,the Apple Store is here" or Walmart, Target is down the road, Bad idea, another morale buster by the geniuses in Management, By the way most reps try their best and are not order takers but we get 10 to 15 naked phones per rep a month it's part of the business.
Anything to get away from doing right by the customer and selling with integrity.
VZW really wants to be the next Wells Fargo
They called those “strategic” years ago, and all it did was encourage reps to send customers who already owned smartphones online to purchase a new smartphone, because they basically only got paid on basic to smartphone upgrades.
F these screws!
A Store Manager with " no idea" enuff said! LOL
Yes not good, Instead of playing games just close the stores and have indirect locations "walk up to the plate" and make them accountable in obtaining these numbers, that won't happen! The stores are free service centers anyway.
Not good
