When is commission changing? Has anyone heard of a time frame?

@2Jfr - really? People who's job it is to get $uckers into the stores don't have a retail background? Most of the corporate retail operations and marketing people I know started in retail.

And the fact of the matter is this: You could offer free hand-obs from hot chicks in the stores and people still wouldn't come in. Nothing on this earth in the year 2018...in the age of Amazon and Wal-Mart and buy direct from China...can get anyone to go into a store so they can pay more, waste their time, and basically get bent over by a rep who has a scorecard metric they are trying to chase.

Its over. Retail is dead, dead, dead. More to come...get ready.

Wanna know how many reps are gonna end up getting outcast due to their peers thinking they're not pulling their own weight.....

Honestly, the Reps that are overachieving at this point have to be doing something underhanded, I work in NYMetro and I even see no volume like the past in the stores, also the quoters are too aggressive for the market that's saturated, also the promotions are not helpful or aggressive.

I believe that this current management have no clue to get people into our stores, and don't have a retail background to know what to do.

I quit today after 9 yrs with the company. Verizon is getting selfish by the minute. 800 comission checks are just not cutting it.

So do upgrades and new put nothing in your bucket? Thats pretty interesting at least the multiplier is still rep dependent.

Team commissions works as follows

The store has a sales dollar bucket. The bucket is filled by retiring 35% of accessory sales, $70 for every new TMP, $200 for every new TMP MD. Pull through products retire anywhere from $50 to $200 based on what item you sale on either a new line OR upgrade.

Each rep still has a multiplier but it is based off of phone adds and upgrades. To get a check you have to attain at least 60% of your total phone quota.

60% = .75 multiplier

80% = .9 multiplier

100% = 1.0 multiplier

110% = 1.1 multiplier

125% = 1.25

150% = 1.5

175% = 1.75

200% = 2.0

So far in our district, only 1 store is pacing over their store sales dollar bucket. All stores and 90% reps are pacing either a .75 or .9 multiplier. Epic failure so far if you ask me.

Can someone explain the team quota? We're not trialing it here (northeast-philly). Does it just look like the management's commission? Any additional incentives? (Spiffs, rec yous?) Thanks!

They are going well for mid to low performing reps. This will help push the last of the high end reps out the door. Higher hourly with a team bonuses.

@1bdb

Trials are doing good for who the company or employees.

I’ve heard the exact opposite. The trials have been going well and trials have been expanded in more territories. The company is trialing team commissions and 6 month commissions.

3rd quarter most likely. “Trials” are going on for first 6 months (and failing) in certain districts across the country. It’s pretty bad.
