Well... Isn't that awesome!?! My post was removed... Anyone care to elaborate?

You said you didn’t meet your directv numbers. If you don’t meet your Directv numbers they will observe you like crazy and discipline you. That is how it is supposed to be regardless of a disability or not. Your job was sales.
Every time someone releases something like the PNW Retail s-xual abuse, it gets shut down. Don't be scurred Layoff peeps!
They're trying to control medical costs no doubt and then will tell you a blind guy climbed Everest so why are you complaining?
Your post isn't layoff related. Rather, you were fired either for poor performance, or insubordination in that you wouldn't try to sell Direct TV to customers as instructed by management. I'm surprised this post isn't removed too.
There are 3 sides to a story 2 perceptions and the truth. Something is missing from this story
Honey Badger don't care. This is a layoff board, not a grievance panel.
In reality, people that are disabled want to and need to be treated as non disabled. So, if you're not selling DIRECTV then you should be held to the same standards as everyone else. Now with that being said, common sense should say, if the DirecTV product was good enough you shouldn't be required to hound people. T has created a horrible culture. Count your blessings that you're out. The grass is much greener on the other side.
You should contact the press and tell your story. I am sure they would be very interested. Then contact an attorney.
I didn't impersonate anyone. It was me, the crippled t3 paraplegic, who sold the crap out of everything with the exception of DirecTV (which I did still sell, just not enough)... Who got zero accommodations. None. When I called to ask for an accommodation, the lady asked me what I thought she could do. I was like.... Aren't you the accommodation specialist? I got nothing. I did all 5 key behaviors and even opened the door to let customers out. All while they attempted to hold the door for me, which was nice but would have gotten me in trouble for not doing thank and depart. So don't lecture me about my work ethic. It took three times the effort to do the same work as an able bodied rep, but I did it every day for almost Five years and I drove an hour to work and an hour home every day. And I had better attendance than most of my peers. I loved my job and they took it away. I guess that's how it works though. I got run over by a tractor trailer and survived. So screw AT&T, they don't own me.
Site rules, can check them in the footer. It's an anonymous board, so posting personal info (names and such) and impersonating others is not allowed. They have few other rules, like no using derogatory language.
While I sympathize with your situation I can only imagine was it was due to it not being on topic for the forum since it wasn’t related to layoffs. Then again there’s others that are off topic and still allowed to remain.
I was surprised too, I would also be interested to hear an explanation.
