We are a membership warehouse and we don’t check cards at the door?
You just hit the nail on the coffin warm bodies and not investing in our associates. This is why we will continue to fail until we invest in our associates. We need to get back to listening to our associates. There are to many executives trying to make a name for themselves. One of Sam Walton’s quotes was if it’s not broke don’t try and fix it.
They aren't checking membership cards at the door anymore so there is no comming in early benefit. You would have to spend almost $3000 to just break even after paying the fee. People don't want it or they got it and realized they arent getting anything out of it. Waste of money!
You guessed wrong.... I've been in all the member facing positions selling plus for 5 years. Selling upgrades, top downs at the membership desk and new plus memberships in the field. When's the last time you walked the steets and sold some plus!? If you can honestly say you hate selling plus maybe you're in the wrong field. If you don't love what you do then why come to work. This is why sams is not doing the best it can be. Not investing in associates that want to work up to the job description. They hire warm bodies.

Harassment? I don't think so... maybe explaining the benefit of the plus membership when some people will literally be making money off Sam's Club. Members spend a lot in sams. Why not help your club get some extra income, grow plus penatration, and super max Sam's Share! Sounds like you don't want to and should be let go. Goodbye.

Not really but have to do what I do. Average 6-7 of them a day so it's eh.
The free chicken pitch was easy mode.
For some clubs this is their last chance at making their membership income goals to qualify for a Sam's share...so maybe get excited and help the club bonus?
