If young are replacing old in your company dont worry it will backfire as it is happening in Indian IT sector. rom 2015 Indian IT sector let by the nasscom (a syndicate in the disguise of industry body) tried to replace 50% of old employee thro forced resignation and they managed to layoff around 10% workforce -

soon workplace environment became hell with no one supporting inducted freshers (who turned out to not self driven at all) and now all the Tier -1 companies are saddled with 100000 dud freshers whom they are unable to get rid off due to bonds they imposed on them. Freshers sitting on bench for 2 years and then offered to client as experienced - client rejecting them en masse.... fun isnt it.

High time we professionals sol ourselves at the right price -

expect predicament to be temporary- overselling one self to exploitative employers will mean early death due to stress and little savings in bank - the temporary predicament is much better

Time professionals talk on forum and exchange ideas , issues problem and put in one face and give ratings to companies otherwise we are the mercy corporate policies so many restrictions/bias on laid off individuals

Don't worry? The company failing due to hiring too many inexperienced doesn't make the laid off person's predicament any better.
